Tolivar are a 5 piece band from Essex who play a unique form of indie-rock.

The band has been together in their current line-up for about 9 months and are the result of a merger between 2 local bands who had played the local, and London, unsigned scene for a couple of years together before disbanding. Like a phoenix from the flames, Tolivar rose from the ashes of these 2 bands into 1 better, stronger band (with the added bonus of having 2 singer/song-writers.)

As a result, they quickly established a good back catalogue of self-penned songs and an indivdual sound and image, and were soon commanding slots at some of London’s best unsigned venues such as: The Water Rats, The George Tavern, The Hope and Anchor to name but a few.
